Clinton, Milosevic and bin Laden - What do they have in common?

A quick glance at the Balkan crisis produces valuable information and insights. The long-standing problems within the borders of Yugoslavia, where its people were at war with each other, flared into a most inhuman crisis. There was nothing new about the conflict itself, but rather, it was the intervention of an outsider taking a direct interest and becoming 'personally' involved in the combat phase of that massive destruction. President Clinton occupied center stage in conducting the 'path' that internal struggle was to pursue. And, what the President did and how he did it bothered certain people - people like Mr. Osama bin Laden. Bin Laden was an institution unto himself; he possessed authority, was organized, and had wealth and an abundance of recognition. Observing the sustained attack on military forces in Yugoslavia by American superior might, and witnessing an unwillingness by Yugoslavian forces to retaliate, bin Laden exerted an all-out effort to convince Slobodan Milosevic to go on an offense, explaining to him that the American people would force President Clinton to pull out of Yugoslavia once their forces began to die. (Please do not tell anyone who gave you that piece of information.) Milosevic rejected bin Laden's advice. Then, almost immediately, Clinton ordered the raid on bin Laden's training camp in Afghanistan. That action was the straw that broke the camel's back - that is, 9/11 was brought to the forefront, organized, and implemented. (Again, someone else gave you this information.)

There is an interesting statement that should be made about bin Laden. In making the statement I am mindful that I am being deliberately evasive, thus relying on your being responsible for any concrete or solid conclusion. The statement is that well over two years ago, bin Laden was seriously wounded. 'Seriously wounded' is intended to mean incapacitated; 'incapacitated' is intended to suggest incapable to perform. Yet, there is a huge bounty out there for someone to fork over bin Laden. Throughout the past three years there have been utterances attributed to bin Laden. Is this bin Laden story a bag of rhetoric or a well-designed fancy scheme? And, please do not tell anyone where you got such ideas, okay? The question being addressed here is - can bin Laden possibly be at the command post, as dramatized by the voices of his enemies? This is a very vital point as we approach our new tomorrow.

There are also interesting questions that should be asked about Slobodan Milosevic. Did he receive a fair trial? Was he made aware of the 'outside' statements and legal assistance available to him? Was any of the following brought to his attention?

<<<<< correspondence to be added>>>

Again, this is a very vital point, as we approach our new tomorrow.

So, in addition to the obvious and what has been said, these vital statements should be given due consideration, especially if we wish to stay in tune and in touch with upcoming world events.

The fact remains, somebody from somewhere will have to shoulder the responsibility for the modern-day crisis in the Yugoslavia region. William Jefferson Clinton labeled that somebody Slobodan Milosevic, while Osama bin Laden identified William Jefferson Clinton as the one and only culprit. So, with the death of Milosevic, what do Clinton and bin Laden have in common when we focus on those Balkan states? They both wanted to claim the iron hand that the invincible Tito possessed when he so miraculously controlled all of the action and conduct of that vast mixture of hatred, violence, and killings throughout those areas. It just so happened that the then President William Jefferson Clinton was in deep, deep troubles of impeachment. He was desperately searching for something that would elevate his image, comfort his emotions, and erase a page in the record book. When all had been said and done, it seemed inevitable that these two leaders would rendezvous at 9/11.
