   through Cub Scouting

Can we prevent juvenile delinquency among young boys? Well, there is not much that can be done once they have become teenagers. The best and perhaps the only period to do something that can and should prevent a problem is prior to 10 years of age. Getting involved in Scouting activities is one way to go. Cub Scouting can truly be the answer -- however, this is only true if you have a properly active and organized Cub Pack. In such cases, the built-in closeness of parents and other adults with a continuous line of activities, prepares for a strong and developed mind of genuine leadership.

This kind of teaching begins when the boy is seven years of age and he is having all kinds of fun at the same time. The youngster is sure to get useful experience in nature, camping out, home chores, and a greater meaning of working with young people. This is the kind of life that will be available to the youngster for four years, after which he graduates to the wider adventures of Boy Scouting.
